About Mahila Samaj Society

A group of inspired women working towards the welfare of women and children and building a more compassionate, equal and harmonious society.

Our Story

Mahila Samaj Society Udaipur is a group of inspired women desirous of contributing in unique ways for the upliftment of women. Welfare of women and children is our central objective.

We believe that women, especially homemakers busy with the routine chores of looking after their families and children, possess great untapped potential. If given ample opportunity, they can come together and do wonders for women empowerment.

We no longer want to limit ourselves to giving doles to the poor in charity. Our endeavour is to bring about substantial change in the lives of deprived women and children by providing them education and life skills so that they can break the shackles of deprivation and poverty as they grow up and earn their livelihoods in a respectful manner.

We also strive to bring the good work being done by individual women and organizations into the limelight, recognizing their efforts and helping develop a vibrant synergy.

Mahila Samaj Society is an organization driven by the creative energy of its enlightened women members, ready to contribute towards a happy society built on compassion, equality and harmony in Udaipur.
